Go Slow to Go Fast

"The Hurrier I go, the behinder I get"

Hearing this phrase was like a cool ocean breeze, calming my fiery mind. Go slow in order to go fast...This is exactly the mindfulness I try to encourage in my life and those of my patients. By focusing ones attention on a single task at a time, we can complete it efficiently, effectively and correctly. When we employ mindfulness in our lives, we are in the present moment. We all live very busy lives, so it is in our best interest to use our time wisely.

A recent BBC Capital video demonstrates that multitasking can actually sabotage your time management rather than improving it. Apparently, when doing parallel tasks simultaneously, it takes 30% longer to complete them and you're more prone to make mistakes.
